A late Victorian Olive Wood Brighton Bun Travelling Candlesticks

A late Victorian olive wood brighton bun travelling candlesticks probably made in the holy land as souvenirs for those travelling to Jerusalem.
The good rounded shape of these particular candlesticks are more pleasing than most you see in the same material and the turnings are very well made. As can be seen by the images the holders unscrew and sit inside one of the dished plates to form a bun when screwed together.
It is well recorded that officers on campaign used such pieces and their function made them a very practical item of campaigning essentials.
